The Berkeley
Knightsbridge
There’s something different about The Berkeley. This is a five-star hotel that excels at everything you’d expect, but turns the everyday into the extraordinary – from our catwalk-inspired afternoon tea and cutting-edge architecture, to intuitive service and indulgent rooms. All in a space created by some of the world’s most exciting and pioneering designers. We’ve been treading our own path for over a century. Step inside, and experience it all for yourself.
Knightsbridge
Cool, calm and connected, The Berkeley is a game-changer for modern British luxury.
Beyond the entrance, you’ll find a buzz of creativity. There’s the Michelin-starred artistry in Marcus and couture pâtisserie in the light-filled Collins Room. Masterful mixology in the Blue Bar and the rare spirits of The Berkeley Bar & Terrace.
Our rooms and suites pair understated elegance with designer touches. Think the balanced sense of modernity that’s John Heah all over, or Andre Fu’s cool and peaceful palette. Tucked-away-tech, innovative architecture and down-to-the-last-detail touches make these beautifully refined spaces.
Right on the fringes of The Berkeley are Belgravia’s Georgian terraces, cobblestone avenues and independent ateliers. While the vast greenery of Hyde Park is just footsteps from The Berkeley’s door.

PRÊT-À-PORTEA
Have your cake and chic it
Delicately piped clutch bags and killer heels in short pastry. Iconic designs given a sugared spin. Prêt-à-Portea is The Berkeley’s homage to haute couture. An ever evolving ensemble, it continually reflects the season’s latest collections – taking fashion world trends straight from catwalk to cake stand.
MARCUS
Precision at the pass
A contemporary twist on classic cuisine. Modern European flavours with a British edge. The inventive menus at Marcus Wareing’s signature restaurant are created from best-in-season ingredients, where dishes are made to stir memories and every course is designed to be unforgettable.
THE COLLINS ROOM
Spotlight on seasonality
Light bounces off every surface in the Collins Room, making this a bright, airy, relaxed spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner – and drinks in between. These chic, Robert Angell-designed interiors create the perfect setting for our homage to high fashion, Prêt-à-Portea. While daily menus feature everything from creative poke bowls to our imaginative ‘young chef’ specials, designed by the bright young talent at the pass.
BLUE BAR
In the mix
Fizzing with energy and radiating style, the Blue Bar is a true one-off. Turning the menu into a palette, cocktails are guided by flavour: yellow for ‘Elegant & Bubbly’, red for ‘Rich & Bold’, green for ‘Fresh & Easy’ and blue for ‘Crisp & Clean’. Soak it all up in the statement Lutyens Blue surrounds – or sit back and relax in the state-of-the-art glass pavilion.
THE BERKELEY BAR & TERRACE
The new old fashioned
From a vintage champagne tucked away in a French cellar to the single malt secrets poured down through generations, every drink at The Berkeley Bar and Terrace has a tale to tell. Inside, carved plasterwork, coral tones and curved edges set an elegant scene, with wooden accents that were hewn from a single tree. Then there’s the alfresco Terrace, the insider’s outpost.
