The hotel has over 300 years of history and boasts 128 bedrooms including 16 individually designed Mews Suites positioned behind private gates. There are two restaurants available, The Brasserie, serving the very best of European fayre with a British twist, and Omboo – Inspired by the spice routes of Asia and the Far East, Omboo serves up mouthfuls of fragrant Asian flavours.
For drinks and light snacks, meetings and celebrations guests also have choice of Conservatory Bar, Octagon Bar, Lounge, and 15 event rooms including a large conference space.
Sopwell House is also home to Cottonmill Spa and its inner sanctum, The Club at Cottonmill. Three stories of spa innovation, with cutting edge technology and globally inspired treatments.
Sopwell House can host events of all sizes from formal meetings to large conferences in our St Alban Suite. Function suites on the ground floor open onto a terrace overlooking the hotel’s stunning gardens– an ideal break-out area during the summer months, with further gardens available for team building. The Club at Cottonmill features world class spaces and facilities including new spa gardens (pictured above), Garden Room, Whisper Room and Deep Relaxation Room. The Club area is accessible only to a select group of members and a limited number of guests or residents on Club packages.
