While our Pavilion Relais & Châteaux restaurant sets the standard for the culinary excellence on Mykonos, the passion of head chef Nikos Moroglou can be tasted in everything that comes out of our kitchen.
As a Myconian family, cuisine and service lie at the very heart of our hospitality, and we have cultivated close ties over two generations to local farmers and fishermen who supply us with a daily harvest of seasonal and organic produce from both land and sea.
The culinary journey begins at breakfast, with a sumptuous classic buffet laden with a variety of traditional treats, such as locally made yoghurt and wild honey, or home-baked delicacies. Sometime in the mid-afternoon, running on Greek time, lunch is served either poolside with an emphasis on light and delicious specialities, or at our Pavilion restaurant, as a veritable feast of fresh fish, lobster or home-reared lamb infused with Mediterranean flavours.
Drifting back to the deck for a siesta, you may want to find a perch at the Pool Club bar a little later, aperitif in hand, watching the sun go down in flames over the horizon as you contemplate returning to the Pavilion, for dinner!
The Relais & Chateaux experience that is enjoyed throughout the day begins with our Mediterranean breakfast while taking in sweeping views of the Aegean from the Pavillion restaurant. The freshness of farm-to-table ingredients, including seasonal fruit, classical Greek yogurt, wild honey and farm eggs prepared à-la-carte, is complemented by home-made Myconian savoury and sweet delicacies, as well as freshly brewed coffee to sweep up the cobwebs of a night on the town.
Pavilion – Relais & Chateaux
With the famous Myconian night as its curtain call, the Pavilion restaurant delivers a star performance every evening. A refined menu in the true gourmet tradition of Relais & Châteaux is complemented by spectacular sea views and, naturally, an exceptional wine list that includes both international vintages and a selection of rare gems from Greek wineries picked by our expert sommelier.
Executive chef Nikos Moroglou describes his food as creative, pure, and authentically Greek. ‘We emphasise the genuine flavour of the ingredients without overdoing it. After all, the Relais & Châteaux culinary philosophy is all about placing emphasis on tradition and local provenance.’ Though he personally favours fish, his current favourite on the menu are the lamb chops with smoked aubergine puree, accompanied by a baby potato salad, fresh onions, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, spearmint and a demi-glace sauce.
The Pool Club
The Pool Club is a spectacular perch with 360-degree views of Elia Bay, a perfect meeting spot that runs an all-day bar service. Kicking off with morning smoothies and fresh juices later followed by exotic cocktails and coffees, the Pool Club moves to aperitifs at sunset and culminates in serious bar culture after dark, complete with live music. Our friendly bartenders will creatively mix whatever you desire to match your mood.
