Field Guides will provide a fascinating insight into the native wildlife and ecology of the region and an opportunity to explore the hidden and lesser-known areas of the reserve. The tour will travel through the best wildlife viewing locations, with the glorious scenery of the escarpments forming a spectacular backdrop. Food and beverages prepared by the culinary team will be served at a scenic location on the reserve for a truly memorable experience.
WILDERNESS CAMPFIRE STARS ON THE RESERVE
Journey by 4WD to a remote, wild area of the reserve for an authentic Australian experience. This tour will introduce you to Australia’s spectacular night sky, providing a combination of scientific insights into visible planets, stars and even our nearest neighbouring galaxies. Sit back and relax under the vast canopy of the Wolgan sky, and listen for the gentle, resonant calls of Boobook, Barn or Powerful Owls as the local wildlife graze peacefully nearby. This campfire setting deep within the reserve is a romantic, peaceful and truly Australian experience.

WOLGAN RANGERS KIDS PROGRAMME
Bush hikes, fossil hunting, mountain biking, horse riding and archery are among the many ways we make time fly with our young rangers – all the while, instilling in them a deep respect for the epic Australian environment. Wolgan Rangers is designed for children aged from 5 to 10 years old.
