The Mandrake has 34 stylish and eclectic bedrooms, with three Luxury Suites and a dramatic Penthouse.
The rooms are set across four floors, rising up from the striking central courtyard. Each overlooks the spectacular first floor terrace, with its outdoor bar and restaurant, magnificent hanging gardens and views over the courtyard below.
The Mandrake deliver an experience that is as unusual as it is new. Whilst the levels of service and luxury will be familiar to well-travelled guests, Mandrake is a totally new, unexpected and unique experience offering an intriguing adventure into the unknown, laced with a warm sense of humour. An extraordinary collection of art, some of which has been specifically commissioned for the hotel, will help create a physical environment that matches the spiritual pitch of the Mandrake. Guests will feel enriched by their stay at The Mandrake, evoking their desires and provoking their minds.
At the heart of the Mandrake they have created an evergreen Garden of Eden. A lush contemporary sanctuary where trails of Jasmine and Passion flower plants cascade from the 4 floors down to the central courtyard. On the first floor we have ‘Jurema’, two beautiful terraces incorporating an outdoor bar and 20 cover eaterie. Early morning Yoga and Tai Chi. A haven of calm. On the second floor, you will discover a glasshouse apothecary full of exotic medicinal plants. This luxurious greenhouse can be used for relaxation or private dining.

Food and Drink
Following on from his journey through Argentina, Chile and Peru, Chef George Scott-Toft has created menus at YOPO inspired by South American cuisine. From indigenous Amazonian ingredients, to low-intervention Argentinian wines and traditional dishes perfected over generations, it was an educational feast of food and culture which we are proud to share with you from our London restaurant.
Exporting the bold flavours of Buenos Aires, Santiago and Lima and bringing them to London, we are delighted to showcase these alongside the very finest seasonal and regional produce available.
The Mandrakes Private Cabanas
Have you ever dreamed of your own private oasis cabana deep in Fitzrovia?
Imagine a secret space where you and your Tribe can gather to drink, feast and enjoy themselves. Somewhere that offers a unique blend of both privacy and being in the heart of the action — a place where long summer evenings are cocooned by music and laughter drifting around you.
Our Private Cabanas are private dining at its best, catering for up to 6 people and offering a private bathroom and direct access onto Jurema terrace.
The Private Dining Room
The Private Dining Room is an exquisite, red lacquered space in which 28 individual paint processes have created an extraordinary setting that is both distinguished and dramatic in London’s West End. The dining room can cater for 20 guests and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It can also be reserved at any other time of day for events, meetings or discussions.
As you enter Waeska bar your eye is immediately drawn to the collection of treasured artifacts, objets d’art and priceless artworks, housed behind the expansive labradorite bar. However, your attention is soon taken by the list of ethnobotanical cocktails, created by the expert team of in-house mixologists.
