Get transported to the land of the rising sun the instant you walk into Roka, a contemporary expression of Japanese Robatayaki cuisine. Set on the 1st floor of ME Dubai, the restaurant is an urban take on a traditional Robata grill, which originates from the fishermen of the northern coastal waters of Japan. Legend has it that the fishermen would cook the fish on the boats using different charcoal and share the bounty with one another using their oars. Each of the delightfully plated and prepared dishes on the menu narrates a unique story, one that will only unfold with a curious palate and an open heart.
This will be Roka’s first international location, opened shortly after the fifteenth anniversary of the flagship restaurant on Charlotte Street, London.
